Hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”.
Buyer (Consumer):
The natural person purchasing services electronically via the website.
Hereinafter referred to as the “Buyer”.
2. Subject of the Agreement
This Agreement regulates the rights and obligations of the parties regarding digital education services, live group courses, individual editing services, and/or downloadable digital content purchased electronically by the Buyer through the website https://research-says.com.
The services provided do not involve the delivery of physical goods.
3. Nature of the Services
The Seller provides the following services:
- Online language and writing skills courses
- Live group classes
- Exam preparation programs
- Individual editing and text revision services
- Digital educational materials and downloadable content
Services may be provided online, digitally, or face-to-face depending on the specific program.
4. Payment and Performance
Payments are processed electronically via the website using the iyzico payment infrastructure.
Service performance begins:
- On the announced start date for live group courses
- Upon receipt of the document for editing services
- Immediately after payment for instant-access digital content
5. Right of Withdrawal and Cancellation Policy
5.1 Live Group Courses
The Buyer may cancel enrollment by providing written notice at least 7 days before the official course start date.
If enrollment occurs within 7 days prior to the course start date, the Buyer does not have a right of withdrawal.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the course start date.
However, provided that written notice is submitted before the first session, the Buyer may request a one-time transfer to the next available cohort. Such transfer is subject to the Seller’s approval and availability.
5.2 Editing Services
For editing services, performance begins upon receipt of the document.
Once work has commenced, the Buyer acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is lost.
No refunds are issued once editing work has started.
5.3 Instant-Access Digital Content
For digital products or services that grant immediate access upon payment, the Buyer expressly agrees that performance begins immediately and acknowledges the loss of the right of withdrawal.
No refunds are issued after access has been granted.
6. Buyer’s Acknowledgment
Before completing the purchase, the Buyer acknowledges that:
- They have read and understood this Agreement,
- They understand the conditions of distance sales,
- They may lose the statutory 14-day withdrawal right once performance begins,
- They expressly request the immediate performance of the service.
7. Force Majeure
The Seller shall not be held liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, technical infrastructure failures, or official authority decisions. In such cases, services may be postponed.
8. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes arising from this Agreement, the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts at the Buyer’s place of residence or at the Seller’s location shall have jurisdiction.
9. Effectiveness of the Agreement
By checking the box stating “I have read and accept the Distance Sales Agreement,” the Buyer electronically accepts and confirms this Agreement.
In case of any discrepancy between the Turkish and English versions of this Agreement, the Turkish version shall prevail.
