By the end of Lesson 2, you will be able to:
- ✅ Use the four building blocks of a solid paragraph.
- ✅ Draft two coherent body paragraphs that each develop one idea.
- ✅ Apply precise vocabulary to improve clarity and concision.

- ✅ Write a complete introduction (background, paraphrase, thesis).

🔗 Lesson 5 – Coherence & Cohesion (with Referential Cohesion)

By the end of Lesson 5, you will be able to:
- ✅ Identify six common cohesion devices and use them accurately.
- ✅ Draft an essay with smooth links within and across paragraphs.
- ✅ Refine your draft using referential cohesion for clarity and connection.

- ✅ Explain the difference between simple, compound, and complex sentences.
- ✅ Use coordinating & subordinating conjunctions accurately.
- ✅ Revise your essay to include a balanced mix of sentence types (Band 7+ control).
🏛️ Lesson 7 – Nominalization & Academic Style
Make writing more formal and concise with nominalization (“decide → decision”) and abstract nouns—then balance with active forms for clarity. Avoid over-nominalization.
By the end of Lesson 7, you will be able to:
- ✅ Convert verbs/adjectives to nouns to achieve an academic tone where appropriate.
- ✅ Balance nominalized and active forms for readability.
- ✅ Edit your essay to remove clutter and strengthen analytical style.
🏁 Lesson 8 – Finding your Voice & Final Draft Submission

style), and submit for human feedback.
🌱 In this final lesson, you’ll also learn how to find your own ideas and words —
using simple, practical techniques to think clearly, brainstorm effectively, and write naturally.
You’ll discover how to express complex thoughts in your own voice and with confidence.
By the end of Lesson 8, you will be able to:
- ✅ Generate ideas quickly and organize them logically before writing.
- ✅ Find precise words and expressions that reflect your meaning naturally.
